BUSTED: NAACP President Cornell William Brooks Under Arrest!

NAACP President Cornell William Brooks was arrested after an 8-hour sit-in at Senator Jeff Sessions office in Alabama. Brooks and other liberal black leaders were protesting President-elect Donald Trump’s pick, Jeff Sessions as Attorney General.

The protesters were demanding Senator Jeff Sessions to withdraw his name for the position consideration. They occupied the Mobile, Ala. office, protesting against what they called the senator’s ‘hostile’ attitude toward civil rights and the Voting Rights Act.
Their hourslong sit-in ended after they refused the order from the building’s management to leave, and got arrested. A live-stream broadcast showed about six people agreeing to be arrested and kneeling before the police in prayer, reports The Political Insider.

“We are about to be arrested,” said Cornell William Brooks, the national president of the N.A.A.C.P. “We are doing this as an act of civil disobedience standing in the tradition of Rosa Parks and members of the N.A.A.C.P. community.”

There used to be times when the NAACP fought against real racial injustice in the Democrat-run South during the Jim Crow-era. Now, they are pointlessly attacking Trump’s highly qualified nominee for Attorney General.

Here’s what Ken Blackwell had to say about their shameful attacks:

“Dishonest media attacks against President-Elect Donald Trump’s nominee for attorney general, Jeff Sessions, won’t derail his confirmation. But it’s important to discuss where they come from because not everyone who realizes their origin is comfortable with that conversation.”

He claims that the only reason behind these protests is because “someone, somewhere, deep down doesn’t believe a white man from Alabama should be the attorney general of the United States.”

That’s as racist as claiming a black man from Chicago shouldn’t be President of the United States.

Do you think Cornell William Brooks and the other protesters should be held accountable for their actions?
