Chicago’s murder rate keeps getting bigger each year. In 2016, more people were killed in Chicago by gun violence than in New York City and Los Angeles combined, increasing the number of people killed in 2015 by 58 percent.

While Democrat Mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emanuel, doesn’t seem to care about the record number of deaths of his citizens, President Trump is here to make his message heard by all Americans, even by gang members.

Dr. Darrell Scott, a pastor of New Spirit Revival Center in Ohio, said at an African American History Month meeting at the White House that he has been contacted by “some of the top gang thugs in Chicago for a sit-down.” He revealed that they’re sick of the do-nothing Democrats and want to “work with” the administration to curb the violence in the city.

“They respect you. They believe in what you’re doing,” he said to President Trump.

Even though Chicago is Obama’s hometown, Trump has already shown more concern than Obama has in 8 years.

“It’s a great idea because Chicago is totally out of control,” Trump said, reports Liberty Writers News.

Trump has persistently drawn attention to the violent crime in Chicago and other big cities, warning on Twitter he could “send in the Feds” if the city doesn’t stop the bloodshed.

According to the pastor, the gang members said they will commit to lowering the body count and even come in and do social programs.

“They reached out to me. They want to work with this administration,” said Scott. “They didn’t believe in the prior administration, they told me this out of their mouths.”

“I love that,” Trump said.

Trump also said “we’re gonna have to do something about Chicago because what’s happening in Chicago should not be happening in this country.”
