Guest At Mar-a-Lago Claims He Has A Photo Of The Nuclear ‘Football’ Briefcase

A guest at President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida posted a Facebook photo with a person he claims is carrying the black bag with the nuclear launch codes for the president of the United States.

“This is Rick…He carries the ‘football’ The nuclear football (also known as the atomic football, the President’s emergency satchel, the Presidential Emergency Satchel, the button, the black box, or just the football) is a briefcase, the contents of which are to be used by the President of the United States to authorize a nuclear attack while away from fixed command centers, such as the White House Situation Room,” is the caption of the photo.

The tag of the two images, one of which shows the man carrying the briefcase, reads “Donald Trump Palm Beach Home.”

“It functions as a mobile hub in the strategic defense system of the United States. It is held by an aide-de-camp. and Rick is the Man,” the captions continues.

The visitor also posted several pictures of President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, allegedly also taken at his private residence Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Fla. The ‘amateur photographer’ revealed pictures that appear to show Trump and Japanese Prime Minister discussing confidential national security information about a North Korean missile test in the public dining room at Mar-a-Lago, reports The Hill.

While the existence of the nuclear football isn’t classified, these pictures are making us question the access Mar-a-Lago members have. These members’ annual membership fee reached $200,000 since Trump won the presidency. What other privileges do they enjoy?
