Melania Trump raised the spirits of the crowd with her touching move – she opened a political rally in Florida with “The Lord’s Prayer.”
How did top Christian leaders reacted to that? For instance, Fox News contacted the most prominent Evangelical Christian leader, Pastor Franklin Graham. He gave them a priceless answer, saying he couldn’t be more pleased with it.
“When Melania did this, I thought to myself, ‘This is the first time in American history, its politics, as far as I know, that the First Lady stood and recited the Lord’s Prayer before she introduced her husband,’” said Graham. “I thought it was tremendous.”
Melania was praised as one of the most noble First Lady that America has ever had. The pastor just overflowed with appreciation and approval.
“I was so proud of her, and I just couldn’t stop talking about it,” said Graham. “I’m as proud as I can be of our First Lady.”
And in fact, Graham was not surprised by the anti-Christian liberal comments that followed and also Hannity’s segment was titled “Intolerant Anti-Christian Left”, reported Conservative Post.
“The Left is going to attack…and try to do everything they can to beat up our president and his wife,” said Graham. “But there are millions and millions of Christians out there that stood behind President Trump. …and I certainly hope that the First Lady is not discouraged.”
