President Donald Trump absolutely keeps proving how much he loves and supports the United States military. From the campaign trail to the Oval Office, Trump has shown America’s fighting men and women a level of respect that hasn’t been seen in a long, long time.
He promised to build up America’s military might and overhaul the broken VA system. Like no one before, Trump has shown strong dedication to fight for those willing to lay down their lives to defend this nation’s freedoms.
During his third week in office, Trump met with a class of Green Beret candidates and actually gave them a tour inside the Oval Office.
“Halfway through the discussion, (Trump) said, ‘Hey — we’re not supposed to do this but follow me,’ and he brought them all into the Oval Office, took a group photograph around the Resolute desk, and then — throwing the schedules into a bit of a tizzy, said, ‘OK, that’s not good enough,’” Deputy Assistant to the President Sebastian Gorka revealed.
This was the first time in the Green Beret course’s history that candidates were inside the Oval Office.
“He said, ‘everybody stand in the corner.’ They all stood in the corner, and one-by-one we took photographs they can take home to their family with each future Green Beret next to the president at the Oval Office desk,” Gorka explained.
This story is even more amazing because of the fact that Trump kept this Feb. 7 meeting private, reports Conservative Tribune. No photos have been released, and the anti-Trump ‘fake news’ media didn’t report on it, even though it was announced a day before it occurred.
With Trump in the White House, America is now finally paying our military the proper respect. Finally, the pride in our nation can come first. We are no longer forced to apologize for who we are. America now proudly salutes the troops and puts the needs of its own citizens first. This is an America that is on the way to becoming great again.
