The press overwhelmed Ben Carson after news started to spread that he had turned down President Donald Trump’s offer to be the next secretary of Health and Human Services. The media blamed his nonacceptance to government inexperience.

Liberals were then totally surprised when Ben Carson accepted Trump’s offer to run HUD. They were so desperate and started to hit their heads to the wall, when they couldn’t find a scandal related to the appointment so they could trash Carson or Trump.

Carson’s friend for a long time, the Rev. Dr. A.R. Bernard, broke the ice and revealed the actual reason why Ben Carson took the HUD job, at a  meeting held at Calvary Baptist Church in New York City, reports World News Politics.

This is what Bernard said:

“Dr. Ben Carson and I have been friends for about 10 years. We were doing town hall meetings to talk about what’s happening in America morally and how that impacts things socially. So, when I got the call from him about what was presented to him and why HUD, of course as a neurosurgeon you would think that Health and Human Services is the better fit.”

“I flew down to Dr. Carson’s home and we sat and we talked. And he made it clear. He said Health and Human Services made sense but he didn’t want to spend the next four years, maybe even eight years battling Obamacare. He didn’t want that to be his legacy.”

“He wanted to do something and have the freedom to be creative. So, when he explained that HUD made a lot of sense because with the right staffing to run that department, you’re talking about $45 billion budget, 8,000 employees. With the right staffing, it would afford him time to be creative. So I saw Trump’s campaign promise to address the inner city as a … challenge and an opportunity.”

He was just going on and on:

“Dr. Carson will be revolutionizing the way America thinks about housing and inner cities and asked for his help in creating a path forward.”

“Dr. Carson asked me if I would assist him. I was asked to put together a framework to begin the process. This has always been something that I have had a passion for, the inner city.”

Ben’s amazing reason kept the liberals silent and Bernard’s words left the people in owe. Looks like Ben Carson is the the exact person that fits perfect for the position.
