On Wednesday, President Donald Trump recognized the women’s worth and celebrated International Women’s Day as the president should.

“On International Women’s Day, join me in honoring the critical role of women here in America & around the world,” he also tweeted.

Next, it was Ivanka trump who joined in on the celebration:

This day was also marked by numerous protesters who decided to go under the motto “A Day Without a Woman.”

The women actually decided to steer clear of shops and to stop working, so they could emphasize their significance.

Kellyanne Conway had an interesting observation regarding the matter, as she noted that women often find themselves in the middle of double and sometimes, triple standards.

On Sunday, Norah O’Donnell asked Conway about her infamous photo in the White House, in which she has an unusual sitting position.

“We’re constantly going back to where I sat, the presumptive negativity of what I wore or what I said, and I do think it’s a triple-standard, I hate to tell you,” Conway said.

“And what does that mean, a ‘triple-standard’?” O’Donnell asked.

“Well, people talk about the double-standard of what a woman wears, not what she said or what she was doing X, Y, and Z. The triple standard is that you know, conservative women are held to — you know, are just cast aside many times by traditional feminist outlets and individuals who control a great deal of the media,” Conway said.

Then she continued on the haters:

“I mean, I can’t let the haters get to me or to the president. What he’s doing here is so big.”

Conway also pointed out that the power of women is exceptional: “I grew up in a house of all women. My mother, her mother and two of my mother’s unmarried sisters raised me. So these four Italian Catholic women raised me in this house. And that has benefited me

“I grew up in a house of all women. My mother, her mother and two of my mother’s unmarried sisters raised me. So these four Italian Catholic women raised me in this house. And that has benefited me tremendously because there’s a certain humility that will never go away,” she said.

Nevertheless, Conway noted that President Trump is an outstanding “ family man” who always takes the women’s side.

“Donald Trump is someone who is not fully understood for how compassionate and what a great boss he is to women,” Conway said.
