Arnold Schwarzenegger Seeks A Position In Senate

Politics is already packed with so many unnecessary figures, but it seems as though actor and former California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to look for a spot in American politics.

The actor is expected to run for Senate in 2018 and plans on taking the spot of Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein, who will face a re-election in 2018.

“[This] would give Arnold the stage to jam Trump for the next 16 months,” an unnamed GOP strategist told Politico.

Schwarzenegger’s PR did not comment immediately.

Donald Trump and Arnold Schwarzenegger don’t really see eye-to-eye and have been throwing criticism back and forth at each other on Twitter, especially after the actor was fired from “Celebrity Apprentice.”

“Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got ‘swamped’ (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings’ machine, DJT,” Trump tweeted in January.

Arnold didn’t like that the show was gaining negative popularity due to Donald Trump’s election and tried to present it as if he left on his own. However, Trump later announced that the actor was fired from the show.

Vanity fair, indeed!
