For the past few months, Liberals and media were all up in arms, pushing the alleged Trump-Russian collusion talking points.

While trying to pass the blame on to Trump, they’ve been hiding the fact that Russians met with Hillary Clinton aides during the election as well.

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman said in an interview Sunday that the Russian ambassador who met with Trump campaign officials also met with “people working in think tanks advising Hillary or advising people working for Hillary.”

“Well, if you look at some people connected with Hillary Clinton during her campaign, you would probably see that he had lots of meetings of that kind,” Dmitry Peskov said. “There are lots of specialists in politology, people working in think tanks advising Hillary or advising people working for Hillary.”

According to Peskov, the Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak talked about “bilateral relations” with both sides of the political aisle, and not about the alleged interfering in the presidential election.

Peskov said that Vladimir Putin had never publicly expressed a preference for either of the candidates, reports Young Conservatives.

“If you ask him whether he had mentioned the then-candidate Donald Trump, I will answer, yes, he had.”

However, the Kremlin leader found Clinton hostile toward Russia, while Trump was open to improving U.S.-Russian relations.

“The candidate Hillary Clinton was quite negative about our country in her attitude and in her program, declaring Russia being nearly the main evil in the world and the main threat for the United States,” Peskov said.

So both Trump and Clinton aides met with Russians but the difference is that Hillary’s team’s relations were far from ‘innocent’.

It is already known and confirmed that last year, Russians met with Tony Podesta, the brother of John Podesta, Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager. Even though he should have, Podesta didn’t register as a foreign agent while acting on behalf of a Kremlin-connected Russian bank to lobby against U.S. sanctions.

The hypocrisy is that Democrats attacked Mike Flynn for mentioning sanctions in a conversation, although having no discussion about changing them.
