Anderson Cooper Apologizes For His Actions

After CNN host Anderson Cooper insulted the President Trump supporter Jeffrey Lord during his show on Friday, he decided to apologize and said his comment was “unprofessional”.

Cooper had a verbal duel with Lord during a segment on AC360
about the fact that Trump reportedly told Russian officials that former FBI Director James Comey is a “nut job” who was adding pressure to the ongoing investigation of possible interference in the 2016 election. When Lord’s response to the subject made Cooper upset, Cooper interrupted him and took the conversation to a different direction:

“If he took a dump on his desk, you would defend it.”
“I don’t know what he would do that you would not defend.”

Cooper told Lord.

“You’re a loyal guy, I think that speaks well of you.”

He added.

But, tables have turned and Cooper decided to act as a grown up. He apologized to Lord in a Tweet:

“I regret the crude sentence I spoke earlier tonight and followed it up by apologizing on air.”
“It was unprofessional. I am genuinely sorry.”

The CNN host tweeted.

Not many liberals have the guts to apologize for their actions. Seems like Cooper is one of those rare specimens that have some brain left in their heads.
