Liberals still struggle to face reality and deal with the fact that Donald Trump is the president elected by the American people. Instead of accepting that and help him push his bold vision for restoring America’s economy to its former greatness, some businesses run by liberals clearly don’t care about anything else but promoting their hate towards Trump, so they try to harm him, unaware that by doing so, they actually harm the American people.
Outdoor clothing giant Patagonia is one of those businesses. Its CEO, Rose Marcario, announced that the entire company will join the “resistance” against President Donald Trump.
Patagonia CEO criticized Trump for rolling back former President Barack Obama’s unusually aggressive campaign of confiscating millions of acres of state lands and claiming them as “national monuments.”
“We have to fight like hell to keep every inch of public land,” Marcario said. “I don’t have a lot of faith in politics and politicians right now.”
Marcario even said she plans to immediately sue the Trump administration for its efforts to scale back Obama’s unprecedented land grab, reports Federalist Tribune.
“A president does not have the authority to rescind a national monument,” Marcario said after Trump announced his plans for the national monument order. “An attempt to change the boundaries ignores the review process of cultural and historical characteristics and the public input.”
This isn’t the first time that Patagonia gets involved in politics. Last year, Marcario’s company spent over $1 million for a get-out-the-vote campaign to defeat Donald Trump and Republicans.
However, all this seems like there’s a hidden motive behind it, as some even say that this is nothing but the company’s desperate attempt to divert the attention after it was caught using child labor overseas to manufacture its garments.
Well, now it all makes sense. After all, liberals are known for their sleazy diversion tactics and schemes to manipulate the public in order to get away with their criminal behavior.
