It’s very obvious to all who aren’t dishonest, partisan hacks that Obama has violated the Constitution on quite a few occasions. The man tarnished our nation’s founding document, starting with his executive actions and his opening up our border for invasion and his use of federal agencies to target conservatives.
It seems like Obama and leftists think they are allowed to break laws and manufacture oppressive laws of their own, because of their near complete control of the court system in the US.
Thank god that Trump’s election led to the highest court remaining in the hands of conservatives. Now, the Supreme court has issued a repudiation of the lawlessness of the Obama administration. According to reports, the court ruled that Lafe Solomon, an Obama appointee, illegally served as the acting general counsel for the National Labor Relations Board for three years.
Solomon was nominated to the Senate back in 2011, but his nomination was refused. After that happened, Obama circumvented the Congress, giving him the title “acting” general counsel. Chief Justice John Roberts explained that by doing so, Obama did an “end-run around” the Constitution.
Obama has now been accused of violation the Constitution when Solomon maintained an acting agency appointment after the Senate refused to confirm him. The majority of the court decided:
“We cannot cast aside the separation of powers and the Appointments Clause’s important check on executive power for the sake of administrative convenience or efficiency.”
David Phippen, a management-side labor attorney, said this about the decision:
“The decision … appears to make it somewhat more difficult for Presidents to put ‘her or his people’ into important agency positions unilaterally, i.e., without approval of the Senate.”
The former president treated our founding document like trash, but newly elected president Trump will do more that look out for only his own interest – he will make things better for all Americans.
