Workers in restaurants can often act rude and unprofessional with their customers. But, it’s especially disturbing when they act badly with the men and women in blue who risk their lives to protect us.

Unfortunately, this is the case with liberal employees at Dunkin’ Donuts in New York City, who have become emboldened to “take a stand” against policemen and women by refusing to serve them. One worker refused to serve two police officers, saying to them:

“I don’t serve cops.”

As a result, a police union has called for a boycott against Dunkin’ Donuts. One police officer said this to someone who asked how to get to the nearest Dunkin’ Donuts:

“I’m not allowed to do that.”

Michael Palladino, president of the Detectives’ Endowment Association police labor union, said that this situation was “disgraceful and it should not go unattended.” He added:

“Political leaders in this city have encouraged this type of behavior by constantly demonizing cops and pushing their decriminalization agenda. Since the story was reported, the union office received a lot of feedback from active and retired members supporting the boycott. I know that Dunkin Donuts supports law enforcement, which is why I am disappointed that their official statements are weak and suggest denial.”
