Devin Nunes’s latest appearance in the news brought fear to the Obama lovers, and to Obama himself. The House Intelligence Committee Chairman stated that investigators will “unmask” a scandal hanging over the previous president’s administration.
Nunes actually refers to the controversial requests that Obama administration made in order to expose the identities of American agents or the intelligence they gathered.
For this reason, during a communication with the director of National Intelligence, Nunes claimed there were “hundreds” of requests for the “unmasking” during the Obama administration, and many “were made under suspicious circumstances.”
Nunes said in his letter to National Intelligence Director Dan Coats that he had “found evidence that current and former government officials had easy access to U.S. person information and that it is possible that they used this information to achieve partisan political purposes… including the selective, anonymous leaking of such information.”
The committee, he continued, “has learned that one official, whose position has no apparent intelligence-related function, made hundreds of unmasking requests during the final year of the Obama administration.”
The shocking news implicate that Obama tried to sabotage President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.
As Nunes’ letter states, “Obama-era officials sought the identities of Trump transition officials within intelligence reports.”
Furthermore, Nunes states, officials didn’t provide any “meaningful explanation” as to why they would request such sensitive information.
“The American people are beginning to learn the truth about the improper unmasking of the identities of U.S. citizens and other abuses” by the previous administration, Nunes said.
