Before Donald Trump was officially named our nation’s president, overconfident liberal celebrities and Hillary Clinton supporters vowed to leave the United States if she lost the race. Now, many of them are eating their words, like Miley Cyrus for example.
Unfortunately, the majority of Clinton’s vocal celebrity fan club seem to have gone silent about their campaign promise and have no intention of leaving—and Trump supporters are taking to social media to call them out.
Miley Cyrus was among one of the loudest celebrities to announce her impending departure.
“We’re all just f**king jam between his rich a** toes!” Cyrus wrote of Trump on Instagram. “Honestly f**k this s**t I am moving if this is my president! (I don’t say things I don’t mean!).”
Miley Cyrus’ most recent Instagram post about Donald Trump features a screenshot of a Washington Post article about him getting booed at a polling station, reports American News. However, when she posted it, she surely didn’t expect it to be flooded with thousands of comments demanding Miley stay true to her word and leave the country.
“I hope you are packed!” one Instagram user wrote. “Do us a favor and don’t come back please. You are a bad image to little girls, real talk. You might consider going to Saudi Arabia is a nice place to live and you might like it.”
“Go and move out!” another chimed in. “Puppet of the media!”
Apparently, the reason why Miley still hasn’t moved out is that she has finally accepted Trump as the President. At least, that’s what she’s said.
Referring to the Rolling Stones’ song You Can’t Always Get What You Want – which Trump used to play out his victory speech – Cyrus said:
“Happy hippies, we adjust and we accept everyone for who they are. And so Donald Trump, I accept you.”
“And this hurts to say, but I even accept you as the President of the United States, and that’s fine, that’s fine because I think now I want to be a hopeful hippie.”
