Ben Carson Drains The Swamp — Look Who He Just Exposed For Stealing $336,000 Of Taxpayer Funds

We all know that the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Ben Carson, is a very smart man. In addition to being a politician and part of the Trump administration, he’s a neurosurgeon and an author. But, the latest reports show that he might be adding investigator to the list.

Carson is working hard in order to root out corruption that has cost Americans a lot of money. Even though he is not working in forensic accounting or personally conducting audits, he is doing everything he can to prove that his department is trustworthy.

What Carson just exposed has everyone shook. Lorena Loren, HUD director in Michigan, has been accused of stealing $336,000 of taxpayer funds and using those funds to go on a personal needs, reports American Conservative Herald.

Watchdog group Judicial Watch reported about how Loren scammed the government for years and stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from the agency and used it to buy furniture, alcohol, clothes, makeup and other personal items. This is the first time that she has been detected for doing so.

Loren served as the executive director of the St. Clair Housing Commission for a branch in Michigan. She worked with a program called Section 8, which provided assistance for very low-income families, the elderly and the disabled to afford decent, safe and sanitary housing in the private market.

What the program was used for was actually to help poor families buy their own house, townhouse or apartment with vouchers. But, instead of doing that, Loren abused it for years for her own needs. Finally, Ben Carson uncovered that this is happening and now it can be stopped.

As we have seen on many occasions that Carson puts integrity above all else, we are sure that this will be taken care of immediately.
