President Trump lashed out at the players for disrespecting the national anthem on Friday while at a campaign rally for Senator Luther Strange. Apparently, this only made players angrier, and they let everyone know that they have no intention of stopping with their ridiculous behavior.
Unfortunately for them, they don’t seem to realize how all of this will affect the ratings, as there are more and more enraged fans who are deciding to boycott the league and not watch the games.
NFL players really crossed the line before the London game between the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars, when they knelt during the U.S. national anthem, but stood for the British anthem ‘God Save the Queen’. It was a whole other level of disrespect.
The Pittsburgh Steelers team has come up with another way of showing their un-patriotic spirit – by hiding in the locker room during the National Anthem.
Only former Army Ranger Alejandro Villanueva was standing.
Patriotic Americans all over the country were outraged at the disgraceful anti-police stunt by NFL players.
One Steelers fan took all of his team jerseys, jackets, shirts and hats… And burned them all.
Robert L. Williams took all of his NFL merchandise and put them in an outdoor pit, reports The Gateway Pundit.
“We have morals in this country. We stand for this country. My great uncle’s bones are lying in the bottom of Pearl Harbor. For this country. For the flag. For your freedom to play in the NFL and to say whatever you want to say. But you do not disrespect the flag and the country and the Constitution… So watch this stuff burn,” said Williams, then he torched all of his NFL gear and posted the video on YouTube.
