By now, you have probably heard about former interim Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Brazile’s revelation that Barack Obama and Florida Democrat Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz gave Hillary Clinton complete control of the committee before she had even won the Democrat nomination. Of course, liberal mainstream media immediately went after Brazile, trying to discredit her claims.
Fox News host Tucker Carlson reported Monday that “highly informed” sources revealed that CNN reporters were directed by top management to undermine Brazile’s credibility and divert the attention from the scandal.
“According to highly informed sources we spoke to – highly informed – top management at CNN directed its employees to undermine Brazile’s credibility,” Carlson said.
“Anchors and producers there were vocally offended … by Brazile’s attacks on their friends, the Clintons. If you’ve been watching that channel, you may have noticed CNN’s anchors suggesting that Donna Brazile cannot be trusted, precisely because she took part in efforts to rig the primaries for Clinton.”
To prove his point, Carlson showed a series of clips of CNN personalities questioning Brazile’s credibility for her part in rigging the game in favor of Clinton.
“She’s the one that, through someone who doesn’t work at CNN, got access to one town hall question and sent an email, which we know from WikiLeaks, to someone from the Clinton campaign … which is completely unethical,” CNN host Anderson Cooper said, adding, “She wasn’t doing that for Bernie Sanders.”
But Carlson wasn’t done. He then showed a clip of CNN host Brooke Baldwin asking a guest if he could take Brazile at her word, “given the fact that she lied about that CNN debate and giving those questions to Hillary Clinton ahead of time,” reports Western Journal.
“It’s unbelievable,” Tucker said.
“In retrospect, they’re so obviously talking points.”
Now, in an excerpt of her book, Brazile is revealing that the DNC had signed a victory fund agreement with the campaign in August 2015, nearly a year before Clinton had the nomination.
Given the fact that Brazile ran the party during the tail end of the election, Carlson said her account of the DNC’s actions during the 2016 campaign is worth its weight in gold.
“Brazile once ran the DNC, so when she says the Democratic party worked hard to steal the election from Bernie Sanders, you can’t exactly dismiss her as a partisan or a kook,” Carlson said.
